Day 9 of 100 Days of Good Karma.

Today I’m drinking my silver lining.

    No, it’s not wine.

(Though, not gonna lie, there’s been a fair bit of that lately.)

Today I received a surprise package in the mail.

I was piddling around in the kitchen trying to think of some silver lining for today’s post.  Today was neither good nor bad. I was just having a hard time coming up with something to write about.  Then Justin walked in from checking the mail.

“Here,” he said, handing me a box. “You got something.”

The box read Adagio Teas on the outside, but I didn’t see a return address.  It was my name on the box, so I knew it was definitely for me.

And then I remembered a random question during a conversation with my brother a few nights ago.

He asked, “What kind of tea do you like?”

The bag of Brother Blend on the left is a blend of pumpkin spice, cream, and vanilla with accents of ginger.

The bag of Meghan’s Silver Lining on the right is a blend of earl grey moonlight and cream with accents of lavender.

I immediately made a cup of Meghan’s Silver Lining and am sipping it out of my favorite tea cup as I write this post.

    It is sooo good.

Today’s silver lining:  Surprise care packages in my mailbox.

Thank you, Tripper and Ash!  And for more than just the tea. You reminded me that a silver lining will present itself if I look hard enough.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!
