• 100 Days of Good Karma: Day 77 (What Comes Next?)

Day 77 of 100 Days of Good Karma.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what to do with the blog after the 100DaysofGoodKarma project ends.

This project has been good in a lot of ways.

In addition to pulling me through some very dark times, it made me form a habit of blogging on a regular basis.  Before this project I would only update the blog when the urge struck me.  This project taught me the value of setting a schedule for my blog posts.

While posting something every day has been fulfilling, it isn’t a schedule I want to maintain forever.  I have other projects I look forward to working on and there are only so many hours in a day.

So after the 100DaysofGoodKarma project ends I’m going to scale back to three posts a week.

    • I love the daily habit of looking for the Silver Lining, so one post will be called Seven Silver Linings where I’ll post the silver linings from my week.
    • Some of my favorite blogs post a collection of inspirational links.  I hope those other writers don’t mind, but I’m stealing their idea (and if they do mind, I hope they’ll remember that imitation is the highest form of flattery).
    • The third post will be about whatever I want.  This could be a health update, silly stories of my kids, whatever (I’m always open to suggestions).

Today’s silver lining:  It feels good to have a going-forward plan after this project ends.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!
