• 100 Days of Good Karma: Day 86 (A Fabulously Normal and Boring Sunday)

Day 86 of 100 Days of Good Karma.

This was a normal, boring Sunday in all the best ways.

The kids and I went to my mother in law’s house the night after the Komen walk.

I was lazy and ate too many bowls of homemade chicken and dumplings.  The next morning we woke up and the kids ate too many pancakes.

The kids got to play with their little and big cousins.  They jumped on trampolines and explored a camper trailer.

They helped me grocery shop and somehow convinced me to buy candy at the register (damn product placement advertising strategies).

We came home to a nap and some more boring, normal stuff:

    • Magic shows
    • Forts made of chairs and blankets
    • Shooting Nerf gun bullets from the top of the stairs

One very cool discovery this weekend:  A website called Cleaning For A Reason.  This organization offers free house cleaning services to people in chemotherapy.  I filled out an application and plan on asking my doctor for a note at my next chemotherapy session.

Today’s silver lining:  I cherish boring and normal, especially on Sundays.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!

Boring and normal are always the best.

Total score on the cleaning service. They’ve got some good/thoughtful programs in your area.

I loved getting to spend time with you and playing with my little angels! Love you!
