Day 96 of 100 Days of Good Karma.

The kids put together an awesome present for Justin and I last night.

After their bath they huddled together in my room, whispering to each other and forbidding me to look at what they were doing.

After a little while later they came out and announced they had a gift for us.

We were presented with a pretty gift box.  They bounced around like eager puppies until we opened it.

Justin did the honors.  Inside we found kid coupons.

I love it, spelling errors and all.

My personal favorite is the ‘snuggle til I’m bored’ coupon.  A close runner up is the blank check to have them ‘clean something’.

I read that and had one thought:  toilets.

Chemo fun fact for the day:  Chemotherapy makes your nose hair fall out.

I couldn’t figure out why my nose was stuffy and why I was sneezing so much.  Fall finally found us on the Gulf Coast, so I figured I was just a victim of our bi-annual allergy season.

Then I looked in the mirror.

    Really looked.

    Huh… No nose hair.

Mother Nature’s nose filter was TKO’d after eleven rounds with Taxol.

I was warned hair would fall out, like, all over.  That nose hair would be included in that didn’t cross my mind.

It makes me wonder about ear hair, but, of course, that’s harder to see for myself.

Today’s silver lining:  I’m going to cash in a snuggle coupon tonight.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!
