    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  0 miles (I was a bum);  Running Total: 15.91 miles)

Day 107 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

I’ve gotten several questions on the plan going forward.  I forget that not everyone lives and breathes this schedule with me.

So, having finished my first round of chemo, this is the going forward plan.

    • Taxol Chemotherapy once a week for 12 weeks (12 treatments).
    • FAC Chemotherapy once every 3 weeks for 12 weeks (4 treatments).
      • This drug is stronger so requires more time in between treatments for my body to recover.
      • I’ll also receive a shot the day after chemo to help rebuild my immune system.
    • A month or so off to recover from chemo
    • Surgery
    • Radiation (5 days a week for 12 weeks, I think)

There’s no date set yet for surgery because my doctors want to see the tumors shrink more.  According to the ultrasound last week, they are definitely smaller.

Here’s a tentative schedule for the FAC Chemotherapy:

    • FAC Chemotherapy #1 – Tuesday, 10/28/14
    • FAC Chemotherapy #2 – Friday, 11/21/14 (switching to Fridays so Justin can take care of me over the weekend)
    • FAC Chemotherapy #3 – Friday, 12/19/14
    • FAC Chemotherapy #4 – Friday, 1/9/14

Of course this is all if all goes according to plan and I’ve calculated correctly.  Also, I don’t know what the holidays will do to the doctor’s schedules.

Today’s silver lining:  Only four chemo sessions left!

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!

You are the math/numbers lady, but, when I count the weeks on my calendar, it’s 10/28, 11/21, 12/12 (not 12/19) and 1/2 (not 1/9). My calculations have this done a week sooner 🙂 let’s hope it’s correct!
