Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today: 3.00 miles; Running Total: 42.00 miles)
Day 129 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.
There was so much excitement yesterday, I don’t even know where to begin. Are you ready for a view into the glamour? Well then hold on because it’s about to get cuh-razy.
I went to the gym and wrote a blog post.
(I know what you’re thinking. How do you go up from there? But wait…)
I went thrift store shopping with a friend. The find of the day was a hard copy of Tina Fey’s book Bossypants for $2.00. Woo!
We picked up a few groceries. Then I went home and took a nap.
(Ooh… Livin’ life on the edge.)
A friend brought over dinner – homemade stew with carrots and potatoes. We chatted for a few minutes before I made myself sit down and work on a story I’m writing.
Then I folded laundry and dropping off dry cleaning.
(I am a party animal.)
I picked up the kids. Badgered them into eating dinner, doing homework, taking baths and getting ready for bed. Then we played card games in front of the fire place.
Later, after the kids went to bed, Justin and I finished out the day on the couch watching The Walking Dead.
(I know. I know. The excitement is too much to bear. But don’t hate. Not everyone’s cut out for this kind of madness.)
Today’s silver lining: I love my very ordinary life.
What’s your silver lining today? I love comments!
