Day 132 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

I told my friend Veronica I needed to keep busy today to keep my mind off of getting chemo tomorrow.  So we decided to go to the Natural Science Museum to see the dinosaurs.  Enjoy!

After going to the Natural Science Museum, Veronica and I went to visit The Menil Collection.  The Menil Collection was amazing!  I can’t believe it’s free!  It was bigger than I thought and the artwork was equal to the Fine Arts Museum.  Houston has an amazing treasure in this plain-faced museum.

We weren’t supposed to take pictures, but Veronica managed to sneak one when we weren’t being followed by the docent.

That looks like so much fun! You just gave me my next idea on what to do one weekend. Houston does a lot to offer and do around the city!

So glad you had a great time at the HMNS. Absolutely love the photos!!! I’ve never been to the Menil Collection … and it’s free?!!!

Meghan, I’m sending you good, good thoughts for your treatment today. You WILL get through this next stage of treatment.

The updated paleo section of the museum is great!! Love going there — often. Great traveling exhibits too…not to mention a great escape – from today’s rain & from everyday life. Good luck on treatment – hope you bounce back quickly. Houston is the right place to be for medical treatment!

I love that museum. My friend and I have spent two full days just going to museums and we haven’t even scratched the surface of what Houston has to offer!
