    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  0.00 miles;  Running Total: 53.55 miles)

Day 136 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

Hey all! You’ve probably figured out by now (maybe it’s my accent) that I’m NOT Meghan. Well, Meghan gets a sick day today. Instead you get me. Tina.

When Meghan and I started the original 100 Days of Good Karma we were shooting from the hip. We didn’t know what would block our path ahead (for her especially). We didn’t know if we could come up with 100 silver linings. And we really didn’t know what Meghan would go through in chemotherapy.

Then Meghan did the craziest thing ever. She signed up for a 100 more days. For me it was awesome news. I’m super selfish and I love reading her blog. I’m so eternally grateful that I get to have this daily connection to her. And yesterday when I read she felt like crap I wanted to do something. I live in California; I grew up with Meghan. I probably have a zillion stories of our escapades together.

Since I hear Meghan rifling through her drawer for the duct tape, maybe I better not tell those stories just yet 😉 But I’d love to hear yours! Or maybe you have something you’d like to share with Meghan to help her through these harder days right after chemo. I’ll be writing a few posts for her to choose from. My husband will be writing one maybe. He also went to school with Meghan–I bet he has some GREAT stories…

    *sounds of duct tape ripping*

    Okay, okay.

    Here are some ideas:

    • Favorite recipes for comfort foods
    • Things you do when you don’t feel well
    • Ten things that cheer you up
    • Ten easy things that entertain kids where you don’t have to lift a finger
    • Links to inspiring YouTube videos or other inspiring blogs

Or maybe Meghan has written about a topic that got your creative juices flowing, or you’ve had a similar experience and you’re willing to share. Let her know which blog post inspired you and that way she can link it in the introduction.

Here’s our chance to throw a party in Meghan’s blog. This is a potluck and nobody has to clean the mess afterwards. It’s going to be awesome. We’ll need a lot of posts, because Meghan has two more chemo sessions, surgery, and then radiation. There will be a few days for each of these events where she’ll need guest blog posts until she feels better. Or maybe she’ll have a day when she just really needs a break.

If the only thing holding you back is ideas, or you’d want someone to take a look at it and help you write it/edit it, then you can send me your idea or story and I’ll help you any way I can (tina@doodlemonger.com). These guest blogs are for Meghan to use on days like these where she feels crumby and needs the extra boost. Your guest blog post will serve double duty. It will cheer Meghan up on a day she needs it most and will give her that much-needed day off from blogging.

I love comments! Let’s hear some of those guest blog ideas in the comments.

    {This is Meghan… Today’s silver lining:  My amazing friends Tina and Tyler.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you. (But I’m still keeping the duct tape handy.) Love, Meghan.}

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!

Oh, I see how it is–your love is conditional on the amount of duct tape you have in your possession.
