Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today: 0.42 miles; Running Total: 100.19 miles)
Day 168 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.
I jumped rope for 30 minutes.
Jumping rope for 30 minutes is no joke under the best of circumstances. When you add in the caloric toll of Christmas, it becomes an epic effort.
Before picking up the rope, I also made a rookie mistake: I ate too much for breakfast.
Two bacon, egg, cheese, and bean tacos with (amazingly fresh) pico de gallo on top. Then ate a banana and, to top it off, a left over Christmas cookie.
Because… Christmas cookie.
Each and every minute of jumping rope was hell.
Those tacos bounced around in my gut. I tasted pico de gallo the entire time, and not in a good way.
There’s also the added bonus of jumping rope that reminds my bladder, hey, you’ve had kids!
I wasn’t sure which would happen first: vomiting or peeing my pants.
I’ve never been so glad to finish a workout in my life.
Today’s silver lining: 100+ miles during chemotherapy!
What’s your silver lining today? I love comments!
