    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  3.26 miles;  Running Total: 106.09 miles)

Day 172 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

The kids and I picked Tilley up from the kennel.  I was excited to get her.  The house felt empty without her here.  Like someone was missing.

I didn’t realize how much I’d missed her until they brought her out to me.  I couldn’t stop the goofy dog-owner grin on my face when she came through the door.  Freshly bathed and smelling sweet, she practically danced on the end of the leash all the way out to the car.

I think she missed us, too.

All the way home she sat quietly between the kids, her head resting against my arm.  I stroked the fur on top of her head and she closed her eyes, soaking in the attention.

Tilley didn’t let us out of her sight for the rest of the day.

And I was okay with that.

Today’s silver lining:  My house feels like home again.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!

Hi Meghan! I haven’t posted for a while, what with the craziness of holidays…but just wanted to say two things:

    1) Always love the blog and look forward to it showing up in my email every morning; and
    2) 3.26 miles this morning?!? Damn. I always feel virtuous when I get to 3 miles (on the elliptical, mind you, which is so much easier). You rock!!!

    Talk soon 🙂
