• Another 100 Days of Good Karma: Day 209 (Pain Medicine and Utilizing Your Kids’ Talents)

    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  0.00 miles;  Running Total: 165.62 miles)

Day 209 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

I didn’t take any pain medication today just to see if I could.  I hate taking medicine.  I’ll do it if I have to, but I’ll quit the second it isn’t needed anymore.

I made it ’til bedtime with just one nap and light activity (ie. my ass plunked on the couch watching The Matrix for the nine billionth time).  I was stiff, but not too sore.

I didn’t do a whole hell of a lot today, so I’ll leave you with a poem that Hannah wrote during dinner.

    Cute. Adorable.

    Playing. Running. Resting.

    I love my dog.

    Lying. Drooling. Barking.

    Nice. Loyal.

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen.  A poem from a future author.

Today’s silver lining:  My kid writing my blog post for me.

Next I’ll teach her to scrub toilets.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!

Love it! She wrote your post and you probably made her feel amazingly important by sharing her poem. Win-win! When I was much younger, I wrote a poem about Christmas that my mom made copies of and sent to all our family and friends. It was my first exposure to the idea others might be interested in what I wrote. I was hooked! Here’s hoping Hannah keeps writing!
