    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  2.60 miles;  Running Total: 188.73 miles)

Day 231 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

I went for a walk. I’m trying to stay active but not sweat so I can keep the ink lines on my body intact. Do you know how hard that is to do?  Be active and not sweat?  It’s freakin’ impossible.

I thought about going to the gym but during the winter the heater is always running and I end up sweating buckets.  So I opted for a walk outside.

Good thing for me it’s February.  It was 40 degrees outside, so I stood zero chance of sweating.  I wore long pants, three shirts, a jacket, a hat and a scarf.  I’m aware this makes me a total weenie, but in my defense it was windy and I suck at being cold and just shut up it’s my party, I’ll shiver if I want to.

My parents are probably laughing right now. 40 degrees?  That’s spring here!

Yeah well not so much in Houston.  Here 40 degrees is cause for wrapping our plants, hiding in our houses and shutting down the city.

About a mile into my walk a runner went by me in shorts and a sweatshirt. He looked way warmer than me and I wanted to run even if it was only for a few minutes.

But, in homage to one of the best television characters of all time…

Today’s silver lining:  Logic tells me I shouldn’t run yet.

I’m sure looking forward to rejoining my tribe when my six week post-surgery sentence recovery is up (only 11 more days).

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!
