    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  1.77 miles;  Running Total: 206.09 miles)

Day 248 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

Today was a practice in patience.

I started my second week of the C25K (Couch to 5K) app.  This week I focus on running 90 seconds then walk for 2 minutes. When I finished I still felt like I could do more, that I could push harder, but I also know I’m prone to burning out early into a training plan.  I had to remind myself to be patient and stick with the plan.  If I do the work I’ll get where I want to be.

I went to radiation.  Radiation has become old hat now. I lay back. I hold my breath a few times. I’m out of there in 25 minutes. I’m so ready for this to be over.  And I still have 22 more treatments to go.  If anyone has any tips for livening up radiation appointments I’m all ears.

With some help from my friend Veronica I finished cleaning up after the birthday party.  At least in this I didn’t have to be patient.  Cleaning went fast with her help.  Laundry is caught up, the kitchen is clean, the floors are vacuumed.  Thank God she came over.  Without her I think I’d still be at it.

    Today’s silver lining: Learning patience.

Even though I’m totally the second chicken.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!
