    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  0.00 miles;  Running Total: 237.91 miles)

Day 274 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

Justin’s cousin and her fiancé came to stay with us on Friday night.

After I did the workout from Tuesday we took Kamryn and Danny to our favorite crawfish place. Between the four adults and Hannah we destroyed fifteen pounds of crawfish.

After lunch Justin and Danny took Connor and went to check out ranch utility vehicles.

Kamryn wanted to go shopping at the mall. I don’t usually do malls and I’m not much of a shopper, but we’ve been trying to get Kamryn to visit us for years so I was game for whatever she wanted to do.

I brought Hannah along with us. I didn’t realize it until Hannah said it, but this was the first time she’d ever set foot in a mall. That tells you how often I’ve been to the mall in the last nine years.

Hannah was in awe of all the stores. That is, until she realized they were just full of boring adult clothes. Then she lost all interest in walking through stores.

I knew I could only listen to “this is boring” and “my feet hurt” for so long before I lost my shit, so Hannah and I left Kamryn poking around Victoria’s Secret for a bathing suit while we went to the food court. A large cup of Dippin’ Dots improved Hannah’s mood considerably.

By then I was getting tired. I knew Kamryn’s next stop was The Buckle, so I parked myself on a bench outside the store while Hannah checked out the toys in a nearby kiosk.

When Kamryn finished her purchase we headed home. I crawled into bed and slept for a couple of hours.

I hate this fatigue. I look forward to a day when I’m able to get through the day without taking a two hour nap.

Today’s silver lining: I liked spending time with Kamryn.

And I think Hannah’s fascination with the mall has been curbed for the time being.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!

Don’t tell me that you don’t a store like Classy Professor. You kids always could find hours to be in there. Maybe they have a store like that in your mall? Always a joy to see the happy face
