    Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today:  3.14 miles;  Running Total: 250.66 miles)

Day 284 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.

This morning I started Week 7 of the Couch to 5k app.  I walked for a few minutes to warm up, and then I ran 2.5 miles. Without walking.

    I rule!

Today I also got to scratch something off my cancer treatment bucket list: I got to join Connor on his Kindergarten field trip to the Bayou Wildlife Park in Dickinson, TX.

When Connor started Kindergarten this year, I was terrified I wouldn’t live to see his field trip let alone go with him. At the beginning of the school year my whole life was in flux. I was just beginning treatment and I didn’t know if it would work.

I’m no more certain of the future today than I was back in August. Now I know exactly how fragile and precious life is.

I also know I got to go with Connor today. And that’s good enough for me.

    Enjoy the photos!

In case you were tempted... don't do it.

Hm... I think Connor needs to eat more vegetables.

Hm… I think Connor needs to eat more vegetables to catch up.

This guy is still a baby. A BIG baby.

His eyes say, "Please feed me. I never get to eat." My dog makes this same face.

    I see you!

    Ostrich eggs!

    Look kids! A cat house!

Me: Look kids! A cat house!    Connor: What’s a cat house?   Me: Never mind.

    Illegal whiskey still.

Illegal whiskey still. Coulda used some of this when dealing with three hundred Kindergarteners.

Today’s silver lining: Time spent with my baby.

What’s your silver lining today?  I love comments!
