Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today: 1.71 miles; Running Total: 27.07 miles)
Day 114 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.
This FAC chemotherapy is no joke. The fatigue is the worst.
I went for a short walk. That 1.71 miles you see up there took almost forty five minutes. I came home and immediately took a nap.
The house was a complete disaster, so I enlisted my slave labor (ie. my children) in picking up.
I had to keep sitting down to take breaks in between cleaning tasks.
I took a second nap at 6:00 last night just so I could stay up and watch a movie with Justin.
The hot flashes are stronger with this chemotherapy. They wake me up three or four times a night.
Also, the morning nosebleeds are a little worse. Chemo dries you out so bad and I don’t have any nose hair left, so they were bound to happen anyway.
Still… gross, right?
Also, my hands feel weak and my joints ache.
Today’s silver lining: The side effects seem to be tapering off. I didn’t have to take the anti-nausea medication today.
What’s your silver lining today? I love comments!
