Run/ Walk/ Bike/ Elliptical (Today: 0.00 miles; Running Total: 39.00 miles)
Day 127 of *Another* 100 Days of Good Karma.
Justin and I took our nieces, Brittany and Kylee, out to dinner. We missed their younger sister, Tyler, but I’m sure we’ll see her soon.
We introduced the girls to German food and accordion music at one of our favorite restaurants. They made faces over the sauerkraut, but they tried it anyway and I think we made up for it with the German chocolate cake and the pumpkin gelato.
They are all three such sweet girls. It’s strange to see them so grown up, all in high school or college, when in my mind they are all still under the age of ten. I’ve watched all three grow from sweet little girls into intelligent and beautiful young women.
They have good heads on their shoulders. They focus on school and keep their grades up. I love that they have ambitious dreams and the drive to work hard to see those dreams come true.
I hope they know how much I love them and how incredibly proud I am to call them family.
Today’s silver lining: Spending time with family.
What’s your silver lining today? I love comments!
